I want to start by saying we switched to this bed from a Serta iComfort. We'd had it for a few years and I just wasn't getting the back support I needed anymore. I ordered this bed before sleeping on it as I needed a change and thought going back to a more traditional style mattress would be best. I'll admit, I was skeptical - especially after sitting on it once it was delivered and thinking I'd made a terrible mistake. But! After sleeping on it a few nights I started to realize this is a freakin great mattress! I have chronic back problems and the support I get is perfect. I feel it's not truly "plush", so if you're looking for something fairly soft/cushy - this isn't it. It's definitely a very supportive plush.
On a side note, the mattress is attractive if that's important to you. I had no issue using my favorite mattress protectors on it and it fills out deep pocket sheets nicely. We have it on top of a metal frame, but you could easily use a box spring or wood slats. It is thick, so whatever you chose as the base - I'd recommend low profile. We haven't had any issues with the side popping out and I don't generally feel my husband moving around. Honestly, I sleep so much more deeply now that not much disturbs me!

Life-changing sleep this bed is so darn comfortable. My wife and I have had back issues. She sleeps cold, and I sleep really hot. This Bird has given us or leave her back issues and even her how hot or cold ballfields gotten better we definitely feel more rested on. This is probably one of the better choices I've made for what goes into the Bedroom

We love this mattress. It is so comfortable. Even though it is rated as a firm bed I find it very soft and comfortable. I love its cool technology so you don't overheat as you sleep. It is in my daughter's bedroom. She loves the upgraded bed. It is high quality as well, the stitching is nice, the fabric is high quality, and the technology of the bed is unique to Serta.
